WINTER WARMER VOLUNTEERING – 30 & 31 JULY
Our annual working bee is an enormous help to our small site team to help us with those jobs that are simply better done by many hands, at least it’s more fun that way. There are projects around the site from landscaping to sorting through our storage containers, as well as artistic projects and projects for the whole family. Click on the button below to sign up for a project.
If you are a returning volunteer and didn’t receive your codes to apply easily, please write to email@example.com to have them sent to you.
WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERING
Applications to volunteer for the 2022/23 Woodford Folk Festival will open on 1st September for Returning Volunteers and one month later on 1st October for New Volunteers.
Anyone wishing to volunteer will need to complete an online application, applying to one position. The manager for that position will then respond to your application within 2 weeks.
Returning volunteers will be emailed an invitation to volunteer with their codes once the application site is open.
If you are a Returning Volunteer and have changed your contact details since the last time you volunteered with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to update us with your new information. We look forward to having you back on the crew.
LAKE GKULA CAMPING – 16 SEPTEMBER to 3 OCTOBER
We are looking for a small crew of folks to help us run our campground during the school holidays. Positions on offer include office reception, site maintenance, lake reception, lake observing (qualifications required) and in the general store. You only need to do 3 hours of volunteering per day for a minimum of 3 days and the rest of the time is yours to relax and soak up the beauty of Lake Gkula and Woodfordia.
LAKE GKULA LOOKERAFTERERS WANTED*
Do you like lake? We lake it a lot, our gorgeous Lake Gkula. It’s growing up and developing beautifully but needs regular care and maintenance to keep it flourishing. We have a small but growing crew of dedicated volunteers who come out and do weeding around the edges,
pruning and plant care, some skimming of algae and a bunch of tasks that will help the plants grow, the fish flourish and all the creatures that have come to live in the lake thrive.
You can come out for a day / week, a day / month, less or more, it’s up to you. We just ask you to complete this short little form and our head of the Lake Lookerafterers crew will get in touch with you to go through the how you can become part of this very important crew. You will also be able to come camp on site the night before or night after you volunteer and of course, go for a dip after the work is done.
