As seasoned campers I can honestly say Lake Gkula is one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had. Bushland setting with plenty of space, enough facilities to go round, a beautiful lake for swimming in and a folk inspired concert every night. A great combination.
Plenty to do, with the lake, live music, workshops, walks around the beautiful site. Good food and drink on offer and everything is reasonably priced. Not just a tourist attraction, but a community of people that have worked on regenerating native habitats on the site for decades.

We glamped! It was so good. Our own shower, toilet, kitchen with mw, kettle, toaster (no oven), fridge, bbq on veranda with a cooking plate as well. Small dining table with 4 chairs, 2 butterfly chairs outside, 1 queen, and 2 bunk beds in 2nd room. Set high off damp ground. Parking beside the tent. Fabulous!

A wonderful place to relax, walk, swim, find solitude, be creative...the list goes on including a saying from a certain A. Einstein that is possible at Woodfordia - "Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better".Top marks from me.

Such a lovely place to camp! Shady, grassy campsites, underneath the many Tree's planted at Woodfordia over the years. We take our Caravan, and there are good roads & flat sites to suit. The facilities are good, clean toilets & showers, and the Store is handy for anything you need, plus great Coffee. The man made Lake Gkula is amazing, and well maintained, even has Fish and lovely Water plants. It's clean, sparkling, and well designed, with shallow spots for the kids to splash around in, plus big & deep enough for a satisfying swim. This is a magic spot, and a great base to explore surrounding areas as well.

Such a beautiful camping spot, with fabulous coffee! What more could a parent ask for? Maybe a wonderful lake that has life savers?! Oh yes! It has that too!! I try and go every holidays.. Almost didn’t write this review as want to keep it secret.. But also want to support Woodford so here we are. Enjoy! See you there..

Being a regular attendee at Woodford Folk Festival, we go out to the Woodfordia site any chance we can get. When the festival isn't on, it's still a great place to be. There's nothing quite like the peace and magic of the place. Swimming in the lake is a dream and the amenities are always clean.

Such a wonderful place for a relaxing camping holiday. The lake is amazing for all ages. We really enjoyed the communal fires and the childrens area.
