These terms and conditions apply to Bushtime (hereby known as “The Event”); for all persons that purchase or hold valid ticket/s.
CONDITIONS OF SALE:
REFUNDS:
Pre-event: If a patron becomes symptomatic in the weeks leading up to the event, a full refund will be offered. If a patron becomes symptomatic during their first day at Bushtime, they will be entitled to a full refund. If a patron arrives at the gate to check-in and has been identified as symptomatic at that time, a full refund will be offered. During the event: If a patron becomes symptomatic from the second day of the event, they will present to a medical professional immediately on-site, leave the event and take a COVID test. A full refund of their ticket will be offered. Refunds will be offered where interstate patrons are unable to attend due to a border closure; Refunds will be offered where the government has enforced a stay-at-home order; lockdown; government instated vaccine passport or mandatory vaccination status at the time of the event where the patron is unable to meet the government criteria for entry. Refunds are not made if you change your mind; you are unable to attend the event due to a change in personal circumstances; due to poor weather before, during or after the event. Tickets are not interchangeable between events, the ticketed event selected is final. Names on purchased tickets can be changed online.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
All persons entering Bushtime must adhere to the conditions of entry; patrons 16 years and older entering Bushtime must be fully vaccinated and be able to produce a government issued vaccination certificate to gain entry to the event; patrons who are unable to provide a valid document showing proof of double vaccination will not be permitted entry. If you are; Experiencing any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever);Have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19; Are awaiting results of a test of COVID-19; Reside with anyone who is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test; Have returned from international travel and failed to observe the government requirement to quarantine for 14 days; Have not completed a COVID Declaration Form issued by Woodfordia Inc; Register a temperature above 37.5c. You will be refused entry. Visitors who are not subject to any of the above conditions for exclusion must be willing and able to agree to the following requirements to: Notify the on-site medical team immediately for assessment if you become unwell; then notify the on-site event manager; and follow any directions given by them. At all times, maintain social distancing measures (as per QLD Health guidelines) and Woodfordia Inc, with respect to all individuals and staff; Maintain good personal hygiene by washing hands regularly and thoroughly and/or using hand sanitiser; Maintain good respiratory hygiene by coughing or sneezing into their elbow or a tissue, and then disposing of tissues immediately; Follow directions by Woodfordia Inc to distance campsites as per the COVID Safe Plan; Complete COVID declaration form to be permitted entry to Bushtime with their name and contact details to the QLD Department of Health or any other third-party government department, as required to enable contact tracing procedures; Respond accurately to the following questions if asked by staff: Have you or anyone you live with tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and have not been medically cleared as non-contagious?; Do you have any flu-like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever)?; Acknowledge the right of Bushtime to refuse entry or request your departure from the site at any time and for any reason; At all times, treat staff and other person/s with respect; as outlined on posters at entry points; failure to do so will be in breach of their terms and conditions and therefore will be removed from the premises and no refund given.
NAME ON TICKET:
The name of the ticket holder MUST match the name on the ticket. Any discrepancies may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund.
ENTRY:
Whilst attending The Event person/s must not: Litter in the venue or surrounding area; Cause damage to, improperly use or tamper with any public facility or site infrastructure; Light or cause to be lit any fire (including barbecues); hand out their boom gate code to a person other than who is listed in their booking; Operate any site equipment (generator, vehicle, sound and lighting system); Exit the site via routes other than the designated exits and emergency exits; Cause any damage to flora, fauna or waterways and on or surrounding the site or enter any onsite bodies of water, except in clearly designated and patrolled swimming areas during advertised operating hours; Fail to abide by Lake Gkula entry and safety conditions; Behave in a threatening or inappropriate manner (aggressive, riotous, abusive, or insulting actions) towards other person/s or staff. Breach of these conditions may result in the removal of the person from the site. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who: Cannot produce a valid ticket; Produces a ticket that has been purchased or obtained through an unauthorised source or through illegal means; Produces a ticket that has been duplicated; Is in possession of any prohibited or illegal objects.
BOOKING FEE:
Online purchases are subject to a $2.50 booking fee per ticket.
WORKSHOP BOOKINGS:
Workshop bookings are available to valid ticket holders only, during their nominated camp; refunds will not be offered to anyone who changes their mind and can no longer participate or books a workshop and is not holding a valid ticket. Workshop tickets cannot be shared; attendees must adhere to workshop T&C’s found on your ticket.
PROGRAMME CHANGES:
While every attempt is made, the programme may be subject to change without notice. No refunds may be given due to a change in programming.
CHECK-IN:
Prior to check-in each individual must follow any COVID-19 safety directions outlined by Woodfordia Inc, these guidelines cover the health and safety directions approved by Queensland Health. Each individual should comply with COVID Safe measures whilst attending The Event and any patron 16 years and older is required to produce a valid government issued proof of vaccination certificate to gain entry. Patrons are required to scan the COVID Safe check-in app prior to entry. If a person shows symptoms as they arrive or during The Event they must contact the site safety hotline and be assessed by the on-site medical team. Woodfordia Inc will be operating under an approved COVID Safe site plan and all person/s will follow staff directives otherwise be evicted from the site.
OPENING HOURS:
Check-in must occur during operating hours. Monday 27th December – 7am-7pm. Tuesday 28th December – 7am-11am. On all remaining days, check-in will occur at the main office between 8am-5pm.
DEPARTURE:
On the day after the final day of the valid ticket, patrons must exit the site by 12 midday. Woodfordia Inc. reserves the right to evict any person who: Is found to have entered the site without a valid booking and car pass; given out their boom gate code to a person other than who is listed on their booking, The person will be handed over to authorities and may face a charge of trespassing; Does not comply with these Terms and Conditions; Is in possession of any illegal item; is involved in any illegal activity, including underage drinking; is behaving in a manner that reasonably interferes with another person/s enjoyment ; Is causing damage, being disruptive or threatens the safety of other people on site; Evicted person/s will not be permitted to re-purchase tickets and must leave the site immediately.
YOUTH POLICY:
Minors cannot purchase a ticket without a valid adult ticket. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult/guardian during The Event. It is the responsibility of the adult/guardian to ensure that all minors they accompany comply with instructions issued by staff and/or contained in all permanent and temporary signage throughout the site. All adult/guardians must camp with the minors that they accompany. Person/s under the age of 18 must not engage in any illegal or disruptive activities whilst on site. This includes underage drinking, use of illicit substances or any generally disruptive behaviour. If a minor is evicted, their adult/guardian and all other accompanying minors will also be evicted, no exceptions. Any breach of these conditions may result in the eviction of the adult/guardian and all accompanying minors from the site.
AGE:
Ages are taken from the date of entry to The Event, ensure the correct ticket type is purchased for your age. Valid proof of age may be required at the entry point of The Event.
COPYRIGHT:
Person/s may be photographed and/or filmed at the site and that these images may be used for a variety of printed, online and broadcast promotional and/or internal purposes in relation to The Event. If individuals do not wish to be photographed or filmed for these purposes, they must advise the photographer/camera operator. Sound/video recordings of performances cannot be made without prior written consent of Woodfordia. Photographs taken at The Event cannot be published without prior consent of Woodfordia.
FOOTWEAR:
Footwear is compulsory at all times.
PETS:
No pets are allowed on site.
SMOKING:
Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.
LIABILITY:
Woodfordia takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. Individuals enter the venue at their own risk and to the maximum extent permitted by the law, Woodfordia, its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of The Event accept no liability for any injury, loss, claims, costs, expenses or damage (collectively “Claims”) which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect to the supply of goods or services, or the ticketholders attendance at The Event, including liability for negligence. Woodfordia, its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of The Event accept no liability for death or personal injury howsoever caused. Each individual in attendance indemnifies Woodfordia in respect of all Claims made in connection with their attendance at The Event and, to the full extent permitted by law, each person/s releases and discharges Woodfordia, its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of The Event, from all such Claims.
LUXURY GLAMPING TENTS:
Upon guest departure, luxury glamping accommodation should be left clean and tidy. Where the guest has left the accommodation and damage has been caused to furniture, fixtures or fittings, or replacement of an item is required, the guest will incur a fee that will be determined by Woodfordia inc. Should the accommodation be left in an unreasonably messy state and additional cleaning is required, a minimum cleaning fee of $50 will be deducted from the security deposit.
Guests should ensure their vehicle is parked in the allocated parking spot assigned to them; time of check in is 2pm and check out is 10am, guests that fail to depart by 10am may be subject to an additional fee.
Fees for glamping accommodation must be paid in full prior to the date of check in.
Glamping accommodation is permitted for booked guests only; smoking is not permitted inside of the glamping tents and pets are not permitted.
Glamping tents pricing is based on a four people (2 adults and 2 children), should a 5th person be required an additional charge of $20 will be charged per night and an additional charge per night will be charged for hire of a single trolley bed.
A security deposit of $100 is taken at the time of booking and will be refunded within 14 days after departure should the accommodation be left in a satisfactory and undamaged state. Woodfordia Inc reserves the right to hold a portion or full amount of the security deposit if accommodation is left unreasonably messy or damage has occurred.
CAMPING:
Every person camping must hold a valid ticket. Camping areas are designated quiet zones from 10pm onward. No loud music or disruptive behaviour will be tolerated. All members of any campsite causing disruption may be evicted from the campsite, without notice. Campfires are not permitted in the camping areas. Generators are not permitted in the camping areas. All campers must take their waste to the designated waste collection points. Breach of the above conditions may result in the removal of the person/s, or the entire group, from the site.
LICENCED AREA:
There is a licenced area that will display signage. BYO alcohol will not be permitted within the licenced area. Any person found involved in underage drinking or caught with BYO alcohol within the licenced area will be evicted from the site. Guardians of any minors involved will also be evicted from the site. Copies of the liquor licence are located within the licenced areas.
PARKING:
Parking is not permitted on Woodrow Road at any time leading up to, during or after The Event. Every car requires their car pass issued to be clearly visible whilst parked on site.
SEVERANCE:
If any of these Terms and Conditions are illegal or unenforceable, the offending part is to be disregarded and does not affect the remaining part.
